We are looking for a Head API Inspector to work for our client based in Saudi Arabia
Applicant must have a background in maintenance and oil and gas
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Valid API certifications required:
API 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspector
API 570 – Piping Inspector
API 653 – Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector (advantageous)
Additional certifications (e.g., AWS-CWI, NACE, ASNT Level II/III) are a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 7–10 years inspection experience in oil & gas, refineries, petrochemicals, or related industries.
Proven experience in leading inspection teams and managing inspection programs.
Strong background in in-service inspection, shutdowns, RBI (Risk-Based Inspection), and turnaround activities.
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of API codes, ASME standards, and relevant international codes.
Proficient in visual inspections, NDT techniques, fitness-for-service assessments, and repair recommendations.
Familiarity with inspection tools and digital inspection systems.
Capable of reviewing isometric drawings, P&IDs, weld maps, and inspection reports.
