We are looking for a Technical Manager to work for our client based in Saudi Arabia
The ideal candidate should have a background in oil/gas or aerospace or steel manufacturing
Requirements:
The Technical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the manufacturing process, including product design support, process optimization, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance. This role demands hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of precision manufacturing technologies and percussion instrument standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the technical team including engineers, maintenance personnel, and technicians.
Supervise the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for percussion instruments and components.
Coordinate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Ensure that machinery, tools, and equipment are maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Manage technical documentation, including SOPs, equipment manuals, and process records.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors for technical specifications and support.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and automation where applicable.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Experience in the musical instruments industry or precision component manufacturing is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM systems, CNC machinery, and production tooling.
Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, quality control systems, and safety regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead cross-functional initiative
